North Korea again tested ballistic missiles. The missiles flew 210 km and fell into the Sea of Japan. According to experts, we can talk about a new type of rocket.

The rockets soared into the sky between 7:00 and 7:30 local time from the launch pad of the Wonsan base - it is located in northeastern North Korea. Having flown 210 km, the missiles fell into the waters of the Sea of Japan. The type of missiles, as well as their potential capabilities, are not specified. Experts say that we are talking about new short-range missiles, different from KN-2 missiles and MLRS shells with a caliber of 300 mm.
North Korea is increasingly demonstrating its potential. And although the leaders of the DPRK have previously tried to show the whole world the "power of the Juche ideas", lately, rocket launches have become more frequent. This particular launch became the nineteenth in 2014.
We will remind, on September 1, North Korea tested a new missile near the Chinese borders. Then the rocket flew 220 km. Experts noted that these were the first tests in the history of the DPRK, when the launch was carried out just 60 km from the border.
The UN resolution prohibits the DPRK leadership from testing ballistic missiles, but North Korea defends its right to conduct launches. In 2005, the DPRK admitted for the first time that it has a nuclear arsenal. On October 9, 2006, underground nuclear tests were carried out - experts estimated the explosion power at 5-15 kt.
The current tension is also associated with military exercises that the South Korean army is conducting jointly with the United States.
