After the second consecutive victory of artificial intelligence AlphaGo over professional go player Li Sedol, the Chinese master of this game Ke Jie became interested in the possibilities of the program. The grandmaster, previously condescending to AlphaGo, said that he was ready for the fight.

Recall that in two matches on Wednesday and Thursday, the artificial intelligence AlphaGo, created by Deep Mind, a structural division of Google, won two victories over one of the world's best go players, Korean Lee Sedol. The game of Go, which has been playing for several thousand years, differs from other games in that the situation in it depends more on reaction, ingenuity and tactics - qualities inherent only in humans. The advantage of AlphaGo, according to the developers, is that the program can play the game, adapting already in the process.
There are three more matches ahead, the outcome of which is difficult to predict now. However, the Chinese master Go Ke Jie showed interest in the machine that conquers people. According to Xinhua, the master of the ninth dan in his skills, the holder of several international titles is in no way inferior to Li Sedol. “I must say that I underestimated AlphaGo. Before the first match, I thought that Sedol would win five out of five,”explained Ke Jie. He himself previously called artificial intelligence "too easy a rival," explaining that he hates winning "100 out of 100 games."
“Now, watching AlphaGo, I don't have that premonition of victory as when playing with a human, but I still think that my chances of it are about 60%,” the Chinese master predicted.
In the event that AlphaGo completely defeats its current rival Li Sedol, Ke Jie will oppose the program. His participation has already been approved by the head of Deep Mind Demis Hassabis.
