The Carat 187 is an impressive 187-foot superyacht concept created by an international team of award-winning designers for luxury vehicle design projects. The team is led by Gareth Davies, director of European projects at Technicon Design.
As Davis notes: “Our team has a wealth of experience in various areas of transport design, gained from working on projects in the field of private aviation and supercar design. This has formed a real understanding of the needs of our customers who prefer things of this class. And now it was very natural for us to apply this understanding together with our core creative design skills to create a superyacht project."
From the very beginning, the team set itself the goal of developing something unique, different from the modern yacht design, and at the same time sublime and ultra-luxurious. The concept was inspired by the red carpet of the world's stars. This became the central theme of the project, embodied in two ladders hidden in the sides of the yacht and able to unfold like spread wings. If necessary, they allow the guests of the yacht to descend to the water or a rented boat to go ashore.
A place for the boat itself was found in the hold of a yacht with a length of almost 57 meters. The vessel has four decks, which allows you to freely navigate, relax and have parties. Luxurious red sofas on the upper deck also refer to the central theme. On the main deck there is a dining area and two swimming pools, one of which can be drained and turned into an extension of the dance floor. The yacht is distinguished by exquisite shapes and detailed detailing of the elements.
Most of the project was implemented using modern digital modeling and visualization tools. The company can conduct a virtual tour of the yacht for the customer to immerse the prospective buyer in the atmosphere on board the ship and offer an unparalleled experience in designing and visualizing their desires even before construction begins.
